What's different about our flour?

Most store bought flour has been processed to remove many of the nutrients that are essential for the health of the human body. Dietary fiber, Vitamins B and E, and minerals like iron, magnesium and zinc are a few of these nutrients removed. Our flour is milled from the whole wheat berry with nothing taken out, so it retains every essential nutrient needed for health

Quality first

The wheat berries are milled with their oils, vitamins, and enzymes intact. Naturally, this fresh milled flour begins to oxidize and lose nutritional value. This is why we mill our flour fresh just before shipping. Once you recieve it, we recommend you use it immediately, refrigerate or freeze it to retain its nutritional value. Most store bought flour has been stripped of these perishable ingredients, bleached, then preservatives added to extend its shelf life. We consider this "dead flour"

Natural ingredients

When you see "Enriched" on a store bought bag of flour, this is an effort to add back a portion of the vitamins that were stripped in the processing of the flour. However, the vitamins being added back are synthetic forms, not the natural form of the vitamin. You can be assured that any flour you purchase from Come By Noon is fully 100% natural whole ingredients, just as God intended.
